European and British research bodies called for the UK’s swift readmission to the Horizon Europe science programme after it was announced on Feb 27, 2023 that the British government had resolved a dispute with the EU, which had blocked its participation in Horizon Europe over post-Brexit trade rules in Northern Ireland.
