[News] Syrian cancer patients regain treatment access in Türkiye

On June 5, Sanjana Quazi, head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Türkiye, tweeted that cancer patients from northwest Syria regained access to radiotherapy in Türkiye for the first time since the devastating earthquake on Feb 6, 2023, which affected both countries and led to discontinuation of Syrian patients’ access to cancer treatment in Türkiye.
