[News] Indonesia and the Philippines take steps to control cancer

Two southeast Asian countries, the Philippines and Indonesia, have taken urgent steps to improve cancer screening and early detection of cancer. The Government in the Philippines has asked businesses to carry out cancer screening for workers at workplaces. Meanwhile, the health ministry in Indonesia is working to provide accessible and affordable early cancer detection services for its citizens at Government-run primary health-care facilities, called Puskesmas.
