Pharmacy associations and medical experts in the USA are warning that patients are not getting the drugs needed for several medical conditions, including cancer, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and addiction, because of strict limits on controlled substances imposed by large pharmaceutical companies and attorney generals to mitigate the country’s opioid crisis.
