[Correspondence] Accurately addressing double-arm-zero-events studies in meta-analyses – Authors’ reply

The Correspondence from Qi Zhou and Yaolong Chen suggested applying the meta-analysis methodology of including studies with zero events in both treatment arms, referred to as double-arm-zero-events studies. Overall, we believe that the approaches used in our Article and suggested by Chen and Zhou are reasonable, as well as complimentary, and we thank the authors for implementing a different statistical approach that validated our overall results.1
