Cancer no longer a priority for England?

Consistency in cancer control policy is known to be linked with increased cancer survival, and so the announcement by the UK Government on Jan 30, 2023, confirming that it has no plan to publish a new 10-year cancer plan for England is a shocking and unexpected decision that is sure to result in the loss of tens of thousands of lives.
