A 70-year-old man visited the dermatology department of Taipei Veterans General Hospital in March, 2020, presenting with a 2-month history of generalised pruritic skin lesions. Upon physical examination, multiple brown to black verrucous papules, ranging in diameter from 3 mm to 10 mm, were identified on the distal extremities, particularly on the dorsal aspect of the hands (figure). Additionally, patches of hyperpigmentation and hyperkeratosis were observed over the skin wrinkles on the forehead, armpits, and buttocks.
