[News] US Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action impacts oncology

On June 29, 2023, the US Supreme Court ruled that race can no longer be regarded as a factor in admissions to US universities. The American Cancer Society (Atlanta, GA, USA) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO; Alexandria, VA, USA) expressed their concerns over this ruling with regard to diversity in the oncology workforce in the USA.
