South African organisations, including the National Council Against Smoking, Cancer Association of South Africa, and South African Medical Research Council, are hopeful that the Tobacco Products and Electronic Delivery Systems Control Bill, 2018, which is currently in the country’s parliament, will become a law in 2023.
