[News] Call for stricter tobacco control laws in Ghana

The Vision for Alternative Development (VALD) Ghana, a non-governmental organisation in Accra, Ghana, has urged the Government to amend tobacco control laws to prohibit the selling of cigarettes in smaller packs, called kiddie packs. VALD Ghana stated that if the selling of kiddie packs is permitted, access to cigarettes will be increased to the country’s young and poor people.
