We read with interest the report published in The Lancet Oncology on adverse obstetric outcomes among female survivors of adolescent and young adult cancers in England by Ceren Sunguc and colleagues.1 Their cohort study provides a comprehensive analysis of the incidence of birth and obstetric complications among survivors of 17 specific types of adolescent and young adult cancers emphasising the necessity for more precise assessment of reproductive and obstetric risks in this population. We commend the authors for their work and offer a few suggestions for their consideration.
