[Clinical Picture] Gastric signet-ring cell adenocarcinoma masquerading as sarcoidosis

In May, 2023, a 56-year-old woman was referred to the Centre Léon Bérard (Lyon, France) with dry cough, chest pain, pelvic pain, and skin lesions. Her medical history included asymptomatic lung and lymph node sarcoidosis, which was surveilled but not treated. Skin examination of the trunk revealed erythematous infiltrated plaques with lupoid appearance at diascopy (figure, A), hypertrophy of sublingual salivary glands, dry syndrome, and moderate to intense bone pain, consistent with skin sarcoidosis.
